RDNLP Working with Offenders and Offender Management

I have fifteen years experience of running government funded employment based projects, the last five of which have seen me specialise in work with ex-offenders.

With the London Action Trust I facilitated personal development courses for prisoners in HMP Brixton in South London.

While my work for the A4e Job Mates Project saw me rapidly become the ex-offender community liaison officer for the whole of Cambridgeshire.

In April 2009 RDNLP secured a contract to provide a Life Coaching programme for attendees of the Persistent Prolific Offenders unit in Enfield, North London. This pilot programme will last for one year initially and is designed to develop and motivate offenders to find and retain full time employment or training.

Despite their best efforts offender management agencies continue to be associated solely with the punishment and control aspects of the system. Working in partnership with RDNLP any agency involved in offender management can begin to facilitate the kind of change in individual offenders that will enable them to be more focused in utilizing the help available to them.

RDNLP can do this by:

  • Providing specialised training for your staff.
  • Designing offender specific Life Coaching interventions and
    maintenance plans.
